SEBI Chairperson Smt. Madhabi Puri Buch has officially launched two new multi-lingual initiatives by Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), in celebration of its silver jubilee. The unique initiatives are designed to simplify processes and make the capital market landscape more accessible, reflecting CDSL's continued commitment to inclusivity.

The first initiative is an updated investor CAS, allowing investors to now receive their individual statements in a choice of 23 diverse Indian languages. The 'Apka CAS – Apki Zubaani' initiative is CDSL's innovative solution to enhance accessibility by offering investors a consolidated view of their securities, held in a demat account, in their preferred language.

CDSL has also launched a multi-lingual chatbot named 'CDSL Buddy Sahayta 24*7' on its website. Initially available in four languages, the chatbot aims to foster self-sufficiency among investors by providing assistance around the clock. It supports investors by guiding them through the intricacies of the company's securities markets.

Aside from unveiling these new initiatives, CDSL continues to promote market awareness, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity and financial literacy. A thought leadership report, created in collaboration with KPMG, titled 'Reimagine Digital Trust in Capital Markets', was unveiled at the silver jubilee event. This report provides key insights from CDSL's recent Cyber Security Symposium, highlighting global financial interconnectedness and the importance of digital trust.

The 'Neev' campaign, which is part of CDSL's 25th-anniversary celebration, was also successfully concluded. This campaign involved spreading financial literacy across 25 cities and reaching out to diverse communities such as armed forces and rural areas. This underlines the company's commitment to promoting financial literacy awareness across the country.
