Celonis has announced the appointment of Benoit Fouilland as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Fouilland's appointment will see him join the executive management team where he will oversee Celonis' global Finance organisation and strategy. This comes as the company aims to extend its growth and leadership in the market.
Co-CEO and co-founder of Celonis, Bastian Nominacher, commented on Fouilland's appointment: "Benoit is a forward-thinking executive with extremely relevant tech-industry experience, an international outlook, and a proven track record leading global Finance organizations. Fouilland brings over thirty years of finance and executive management expertise to Celonis, having previously held prominent roles in leading global companies. His most recent position was as CFO at Contentsquare, a digital experience analytics firm, and prior to that, he served as CFO at Firmenich, known for its industry-changing merger with DSM.
His experience also includes leading the initial public offering (IPO) for Criteo SA, an advertising technology company, and CFO positions at SAP AG and Business Objects SA. Fouilland was also a customer of Celonis during his tenure at Firmenich.

In addition to his extensive professional career, Fouilland has been on the Board of Directors of VTEX, an enterprise digital commerce platform company, since May 2021, where he chairs the audit committee. He is academically accomplished with an MBA from INSEAD and master's degrees from Université Paris Dauphine and Paris ESLSCA Business School.
