COINPAYMENTS has partnered with Motorsport Lab to accept digital-asset payments for luxury motorsport travel, allowing clients to use digital assets to book selected high-value experiences.

The offer includes journeys through Italy's Motor Valley, classic Porsche driving experiences in Spain, winter ice driving in Austria, Formula 1 hospitality, and bespoke supercar programmes in multiple markets.

The partnership brings together a digital-asset payments provider and a travel business focused on curated motorsport experiences for private and corporate clients. It comes as businesses serving affluent international customers explore alternative payment methods for cross-border purchases.

COINPAYMENTS has processed more than USD $50 billion in crypto transactions since launch and serves more than 250,000 merchants and 1 million wallet users. Motorsport Lab said its programmes draw on relationships across carmakers, driving academies, racetracks, Formula 1, private automotive collections, and other parts of the motorsport sector.

Under the arrangement, Motorsport Lab will use COINPAYMENTS' payment system to accept digital assets from customers booking selected experiences. The first booking opportunity under the partnership will be the Master Control on Ice: The Ultimate Aston Martin Winter Ice Drive across Germany and Austria.

The move reflects broader use of stablecoins and other digital assets in commerce, particularly in international transactions where businesses want more payment options for clients. Industry data cited by the companies put global stablecoin transaction value at about USD $33 trillion in 2025.

Luxury focus

Motorsport Lab has built its business around multi-day trips and programmes tied to well-known motoring destinations and brands. Its itineraries include visits to the Italian region associated with Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani, as well as driving experiences linked to Goodwood, Aston Martin, Barcelona, Catalonia, Austria, and Japan.

The company also targets corporate customers seeking travel and hospitality programmes for senior teams, clients, and brand activity. That gives the payments tie-up a second market beyond wealthy individual travellers, particularly for high-ticket international bookings.

"Today's luxury consumer is increasingly global, entrepreneurial and comfortable holding wealth in digital assets," said Stacy Belf, Head of Sales, North America, COINPAYMENTS.

"Motorsport Lab operates at the intersection of luxury travel, supercars, Formula 1 and experiential hospitality. Our partnership gives clients greater flexibility in how they transact while creating new opportunities for us to engage with this community through extraordinary real-world experiences," Belf said.

Client demand

Motorsport Lab Founder Ray Chang said the business has developed from a niche supercar offering into a broader travel and hospitality company centred on access to automotive culture.

"Our clients aren't simply looking to rent an exotic car or book another luxury vacation. They want access to the culture behind the cars: the factories, people, roads, racing and food, including opportunities to engage with and invest in technologies shaping how we drive, race and connect human and machine," said Ray Chang, Founder, Motorsport Lab.

"For our corporate clients, these experiences can bring leadership teams together, reward and retain key people, deepen customer relationships, create differentiated content and open doors to new business. In many ways, it's the next generation of the President's Club, an alternative to the familiar golf trip or wellness retreat," Chang said.

He added that many of the company's bookings involve substantial international spending, making payment flexibility more relevant to its customer base.

"Whether we're taking guests through Motor Valley in Italy, driving classic Porsches through Catalonia, ice drifting in Austria or creating an experience around Formula 1, these are often significant international purchases. COINPAYMENTS gives our clients a seamless way to turn digital assets into unforgettable real-world experiences," Chang said.
