Netcore has partnered with GlobalPay to bring the payments company's customer engagement and data systems onto one platform. The project links more than 12 communication channels with sales follow-up tools.

The arrangement combines omnichannel marketing automation with a customer data platform for GlobalPay, an Indian foreign exchange and cross-border payments provider with more than 40 years in the forex and remittance market. It has more than 26 branches across India, a network of more than 850 corporates and 650 agents, and serves more than 1 million customers.

The work was designed to address a fragmented setup in which customer data, engagement channels and sales operations sat in separate systems. As a result, responding quickly when customers showed interest in services such as buying currency, funding tuition overseas, reloading a forex card or sending money abroad was more difficult.

The system now brings email, domestic and international SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, app push, web push, web messaging, in-app messages, nudges, and custom audience tools for Facebook and Google into one interface. GlobalPay's teams can use the panel to create, run and measure campaigns without switching between multiple tools.

Alongside the messaging channels, the platform takes in both daily and real-time streams of customer information. ERP data covering currency, card, remittance and lead status is transferred daily, while about 38 customer actions, including starting a currency order or checking an exchange rate, are sent live through an application programming interface.

The data then triggers responses when a customer starts a currency order without paying, abandons a remittance, checks a rate or logs in without taking the next step. The system also sends event-based leads from Netcore into GlobalPay's customer relationship management platform so the Inside Sales team can respond while the enquiry is still current.

This closed-loop process is moving from Zoho to Salesforce. GlobalPay has also migrated its email, SMS and WhatsApp volumes and sending domains onto the same platform.

Operational shift

The changes are intended to help different customer groups, including students, travellers and corporates, by laying the groundwork for more tailored prompts across web and app channels.

For a payments business, timing can be especially important because many customer actions are tied to immediate decisions. A traveller checking a currency rate, a student arranging tuition payments or a corporate preparing an overseas transfer may need quick follow-up rather than a delayed sales call.

"Over the past few months, we've been through a major customer-engagement transformation, implementing omnichannel marketing automation and a Customer Data Platform. Through every challenge, the Netcore team stood by us with patience, expertise, and genuine commitment. Great platforms help. Great people make it happen," said Niraj Shetty of GlobalPay.

Radhika Mathur described the impact on how GlobalPay handles customer interest across marketing and sales. "Our data, our channels, and our sales team were all doing good work in separate rooms. Putting them on one platform meant we could finally act on a customer's intent while it was still live, a rate check in the morning becoming a conversation the same day, not a follow-up next week," Mathur said.

Nistha Mishra, Marketing Executive, GlobalPay, said the platform has changed day-to-day campaign work for the marketing team.

"The difference shows up in everyday work. We build a campaign across a dozen channels from one panel, watch how customers respond, and change it ourselves. Nothing waits in a queue, and nothing gets lost between systems," Mishra said.

Market context

The partnership reflects a broader push among financial services groups to connect marketing systems more directly with sales and service operations. In sectors such as foreign exchange and remittances, firms are trying to reduce the lag between a customer signal and a human response, particularly when consumers compare rates, begin an order or leave a transaction unfinished.

Netcore provides customer engagement and data tools to brands across sectors including retail, banking, media and travel. The GlobalPay project was built around the need for faster action on customer intent.

"Forex and remittance is a business of moments. A customer checking a rate or starting a transfer is telling you exactly what they need, and that window closes fast. What we built with GlobalPay brings their data, their channels, and their sales team onto one platform so that intent turns into a conversation the same day, not a follow-up next week. That's the shift from marketing automation to agentic engagement, and we're proud to be GlobalPay's partner in it," said Kalpit Jain, CEO at Netcore.
