SEON partners Exist Software Labs on fraud tools in Asia

SEON has partnered with Exist Software Labs to extend its fraud prevention and anti-money laundering tools to Exist's clients in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia.
The agreement covers customers in banking, financial services, fintech, payments, eCommerce and iGaming, sectors facing growing compliance demands as more transactions move online.
Under the partnership, Exist will offer SEON's platform to its clients, including tools for fraud detection, risk scoring, customer and payment screening, transaction monitoring, identity verification, case management and reporting. It will also handle integration work so customers can deploy the system within their existing technology environments.
The partnership is part of SEON's broader push in Asia-Pacific, where it has expanded its presence over the past year. The company operates from several global hubs, including Singapore. Exist, based in the Philippines, has spent more than two decades providing software development, cloud, data and enterprise technology services.
The move comes as cybercrime and financial fraud remain a growing concern for companies and regulators across Asia. Interpol data cited by the companies showed illegal cyber activity accounted for about a third of all recorded crimes in some Asian countries, underscoring pressure on businesses to strengthen checks around digital payments and customer onboarding.
Regional demand
The Philippines has become one of Southeast Asia's faster-growing digital financial services markets, attracting more activity from banks, payments firms and eCommerce platforms. That growth has also increased exposure to fraud risks and intensified scrutiny of compliance controls.
For Exist, the partnership adds fraud prevention and anti-money laundering tools to a service offering centred on software engineering and systems integration. For SEON, it provides access to client relationships across sectors handling larger volumes of digital transactions.
Troy Nyi Nyi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, APAC, at SEON, said the partnership is designed to bring fraud and compliance signals together in one system for customers in the region.
"Fraud and financial crime keep growing more sophisticated, but most organizations are still trying to manage that risk across tools that were never designed to work together," he said.
"By combining Exist's engineering and integration expertise with SEON's real-time fraud prevention and AML technology, we're helping organizations in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia bring those signals into a single view and act on them faster."
Client focus
For Exist, the arrangement broadens the tools it can offer clients undertaking digital transformation projects, particularly in regulated sectors where fraud controls and compliance requirements are becoming more prominent in technology buying decisions.
Sir Jonas Lim, Vice President for Technology at Exist Software Labs, said the partnership expands the company's existing work with customers.
"Through our partnership with SEON, we are expanding the capabilities we can bring to our clients by combining advanced fraud prevention and AML technology with Exist's expertise in software development, systems integration and digital transformation," he said.
"Together, we aim to help organizations gain better visibility into risk and take more informed action."
SEON describes itself as a provider of fraud prevention and anti-money laundering software used by thousands of companies worldwide. Its system draws on more than 900 real-time first-party data signals to help identify suspicious behaviour and support compliance workflows.
Exist specialises in custom software development and enterprise technology projects for organisations in the Philippines and other markets. Its role in the partnership is expected to centre on tailoring deployments and connecting SEON's products with customers' existing systems.
The combined offering will target organisations managing large volumes of digital onboarding, payments and compliance processes across Southeast Asia's financial and online commerce sectors.
