Stoic launches AI platform to transform leadership development
Stoic, a new spinoff from Axialent, has launched a platform designed to use artificial intelligence for leadership development across businesses. The company is introducing a system aimed at improving engagement and application rates in corporate training programmes, targeting a persistent gap between training and on-the-job behavioural change.
Platform launch
The Stoic platform delivers personalised coaching, mentoring, and tutoring to users at all levels of an organisation. Drawing on more than two decades of Axialent's experience in coaching C-suite executives and leaders at multinational firms, the system blends behavioural science, psychology, and elements from philosophies such as Buddhism and Stoicism.
The platform is structured to adapt the applied learning process to individual users by personalising pathways based on mindset, learning style, progress, and company goals. Users are guided by an AI coach, practising new skills on real workplace challenges, with built-in follow-up and performance measurement after each session.
Reported outcomes
According to the company, early rollouts with large corporate customers report completion rates that are roughly four times greater than the industry average. User satisfaction scores have been reported above 9 out of 10, with Net Promoter Scores almost double those typically seen in standard corporate learning programmes.
Stoic states that its approach is designed not only to raise engagement but to improve the translation of learning into day-to-day practice, aiming for measurable improvements in employee performance. The platform reportedly integrates with existing corporate technology and collaboration environments to support regular use and data tracking.
Development background
Development of the platform was led by senior coaches from Axialent over a three-year period. Axialent's client base covers more than 400 companies in over 45 countries, including names such as Google, LinkedIn, Mercado Libre, and Procter & Gamble. The methodologies built into the Stoic platform have been refined through personalised coaching to the upper tiers of corporate leadership.
The software's learning process includes prompts for users to commit to action steps, with automated follow-ups from the AI system to help ensure application of new skills and formation of new habits in work environments.
Customer perspectives
"Stoic has contributed to improving self-awareness and shifting mindsets. The platform's combination of AI technology, practical resources, and interactive methods has made the learning easy and very relevant to our leaders. Additionally, it has supported our efforts to reinforce our desired organizational culture', said Maricel Perez Lovisolo, Vice President Global Learning Excellence and Organisational Development at TELUS Digital.
Leadership comments
"Our mission with Stoic is to make exclusive, personalised applied learning methodologies available to everyone, not just the top 0.01% of executives. And after three years of development and testing, we now know it can boost performance metrics at all levels of the organisation," said Oseas Ramirez, CEO, Stoic.
