Tokenised equities have reached a circulating market capitalisation of USD $2.4 billion, while new data show a sharp rise in holder and sender activity across the sector.

The figures come as investors watch SpaceX's first public earnings report and the latest US non-farm payrolls release, two events analysts say could test pricing in both listed shares and blockchain-based versions of equity exposure.

Token Terminal data cited by Bitrue Research Institute show the number of holders in tokenised stocks has climbed to 1.1 million, up 96.7% in the latest measurement period. Daily asset senders rose 301.0% to 89,000, weekly senders increased 162.8% to 239,700, and monthly senders rose 63.0% to 472,800.

The growth points to rising activity in a market that links traditional equity themes with digital-asset trading venues. Tokenised stocks are blockchain-based instruments designed to track the value of listed shares or exchange-traded products, giving crypto market participants another way to trade equity-linked exposure.

Issuer split

Issuer-level data show differing trajectories across the main providers. Ondo Finance remains the largest issuer by market value at USD $900.0 million, or about 37.5% of the sector, but its market capitalisation has fallen from USD $981.6 million in late June to USD $920.0 million in late July, then to USD $900.0 million in the latest reading.

xStocks ranks second at USD $557.1 million. Its market value rose from USD $502.7 million in late June to USD $559.2 million in late July before easing slightly to the latest figure, leaving it up about 10.8% from the June baseline.

Binance bStocks recorded the largest expansion over the period measured. The segment rose from USD $182.6 million in late June to USD $564.7 million in late July before pulling back to USD $486.0 million, still up 166.1% from the starting point.

Several individual products posted steeper percentage gains. QQQb rose 1,420.2% over 30 days by market capitalisation, EWYb gained 1,267.9%, and TSLAb advanced 353.5%, with Binance bStocks products featuring heavily among the fastest risers.

Dual catalysts

Attention is now turning to SpaceX, which is due to publish its second-quarter results in what would be its first earnings report since its initial public offering in June. Market focus is on Starlink subscriber and revenue growth, revenue and spending in the company's AI segment, and any quantified update on the Starship development timetable and cost base.

SpaceX has become a closely watched growth stock since listing, and any gap between expectations and reported figures could affect sentiment in related technology names. That response may not be confined to conventional exchanges if traders use tokenised instruments to react outside standard market structures.

The US labour market report due later in the week adds a second source of uncertainty. Consensus estimates point to 85,000 to 100,000 new jobs in July, compared with 57,000 in June, while the unemployment rate is expected to edge up to 4.3% from 4.2%.

Payrolls data often influence expectations for US interest rates, which in turn shape appetite for growth shares and other risk assets. A result materially above or below forecasts could therefore affect both mainstream equity benchmarks and tokenised versions tied to the same themes.

Volatility focus

The combination of a high-profile corporate earnings release and a major macroeconomic data point could lift short-term market swings. Analysts tracking tokenised markets say that matters because on-chain trading activity appears to be broadening as user numbers and transaction counts rise.

Bitrue Research Institute outlined its view in a market commentary.

"Current on-chain metrics show tokenized stocks market capitalization at $2.4 billion with holder growth of 96.7% to 1.1 million and daily sender activity up 301% to 89,000," said Bitrue Research Institute.

"Against this backdrop of expanding digital equity liquidity, the upcoming SpaceX Q2 report, focused on Starlink growth, AI-segment revenue and costs, and Starship progress, and the July NFP (consensus 85,000-100,000 jobs versus 57,000 prior, unemployment expected at 4.3%) are likely to generate heightened price swings. In such regimes, traders seeking amplified exposure to directional moves in SpaceX-related price action have utilized 3x leveraged token ETFs such as SPCX3L and SPCX3S on Bitrue to express views with greater capital efficiency while the broader tokenized equity market continues to scale," said the Institute.

The latest figures suggest tokenised equities are attracting more users and trading activity even as market share shifts among issuers. With SpaceX earnings and US payrolls both in focus, the next test for the sector may be how that growth translates into price formation during periods of sharper volatility.
