Wolters Kluwer unveils new TeamMate+ audit features

Today

Wolters Kluwer has announced the addition of two new capabilities to its TeamMate+ audit management platform: Multi-Year Audit Planning and the Business Rules Engine.

These new features are aimed at helping internal audit teams streamline planning processes, improve data accuracy, and strengthen governance.

Charlene Noll, Director of Product Management at Wolters Kluwer Audit & Assurance, stated, "These new features reinforce Wolters Kluwer's commitment to supporting the evolving needs of audit and controls functions. Multi-Year Audit Planning and Business Rules Engine empower teams to better navigate complex regulatory environments, maximize resource efficiency, and uphold high standards of data governance. These enhancements are designed to provide audit leaders with the tools they need to make informed, strategic decisions in a timely manner."

The TeamMate+ platform, which is used in 150 countries and available in 19 languages, continues to evolve to meet the demands of audit and control functions.

Building on 30 years of experience, the platform's enhancements aim to provide strategic tools for improved planning, data integrity, and compliance with regulations.

The Multi-Year Audit Planning capability is designed to automate and optimise the audit planning process. It offers audit leaders in regulated industries an effective way to manage audits over multiple periods by utilising existing organisational data within TeamMate+. This tool assists in developing a forecasted audit schedule, while also allowing adjustments based on professional judgment.

The Business Rules Engine is intended to guide end-users with in-context prompts to adhere to organisational standards, thus mitigating data inconsistencies and reducing the reliance on reactive quality checks.

This functionality supports data integrity throughout the audit cycle by allowing teams to deploy, maintain, and update organizational rules with a no-code utility.

These enhancements are part of Wolters Kluwer's broader Corporate Performance & ESG division, which offers integrated software solutions for environmental, social, and corporate governance, as well as risk and regulatory reporting.

The division aims to assist business leaders in making strategic decisions that drive transformation, performance, and risk management towards a more sustainable future.
