Check Point number one in mobile threat defence ranking
Check Point Software Technologies has been awarded a Leader ranking in the most recent Forrester Wave: Mobile Threat Defense Solutions, Q3 2024 report.
This recognition underscores its approach to mobile security solutions, which is a key aspect of its comprehensive Infinity Platform.
The company's product Harmony Mobile has been acknowledged for its advanced threat defence capabilities, which are designed to protect organisations from modern threats.
"We believe that this analyst recognition further cements our status as a leading choice for advanced mobile threat defence, both as part of an integrated security platform and as an independent mobile security solution," Ofir Israel, VP of Threat Prevention at Check Point Software Technologies, said.
The Forrester Wave report highlights the increasing reliance on mobile devices by remote employees to manage corporate emails and access essential files.
Consequently, safeguarding this access has become crucial. The report notes that Check Point Harmony Mobile offers superior mobile application protection, network defence, and vulnerability mitigation, providing multilayered protection with advanced capabilities.
Check Point Harmony Mobile is distinguished by its ability to maintain personally identifiable information (PII) on-premises without uploading it to the cloud. This feature is significant given that Check Point identified more than 18,000 high-risk mobile applications in the past month. The report also mentions that Harmony Mobile provides comprehensive protection against various attack vectors, including apps, files, networks, or operating systems, while maintaining user privacy and device performance.
And customer feedback has been positive.
"Since implementing Check Point Harmony, we have experienced zero security incidents, highlighting the reliability and effectiveness of this solution," Anthony DiSanti, Chief Technology Officer at Shift Markets, added.
"Our BYOD network poses unique security challenges, but Check Point Harmony Mobile has proven to be highly effective in protecting our mobile endpoints."
The Forrester report awarded Check Point the highest possible score in 14 criteria, such as application integrity, network defence, and vulnerability mitigation. The report also commends Check Point's vision of aligning mobile threat defence with the Zero Trust Model.
Additionally, reference customers have praised Check Point's security capabilities and the support and account management teams.
With nearly a decade of experience in mobile threat defence, Check Point is regarded as an authority in the field. The Forrester Wave report underlines the growing significance of mobile security as emerging threats continue to escalate. Over the years, Check Point has recognised the importance of mobile security and has thwarted millions of attacks.
