Hyland pioneers AI updates for increased efficiency & automation

Hyland, a global provider of intelligent content solutions, is set to pioneer the industry with AI updates that promise to bring about increased efficiency and end-to-end automation. Addressing business challenges with modern solutions, Hyland recently introduced Hyland Experience Automate (Hx Automate), one of the first services available through Hyland Experience (Hx), the company's next-generation, cloud-native platform.

This release offers key insights into streamlining workflows and enabling user-driven innovation through intuitive, low-code tools tailored for form and application development, the company states. Additionally, Hx Automate ensures compatibility with major business platforms like Salesforce, Workday, and SAP to provide seamless integration while boosting operational efficiency.

As an established industry leader, Hyland is planning to unveil a new tool, Hyland Experience Insight (Hx Insight) next. This powerful tool aims to revolutionise how organisations utilise artificial intelligence in content and process management.

Hyland Experience Automate (Hx Automate) has been launched today, marking the debut service for Hyland Experience (Hx), Hyland's next-gen, cloud-native platform. Alongside the soon to be launched Hyland Experience Insight (Hx Insight), Hx Automate aims to spur customers towards a deeper understanding and use of intelligent content automation, transforming AI application in content and process management.

Capitalising upon Hx Automate will not only streamline workflows but also drive end-to-end automation. This innovative evolution seeks to equip organisations with pertinent solutions for contemporary business challenges. Compatible with existing Hyland platforms, this novel service encourages customers to exploit the latest Hyland innovation whilst maximising their existing solution's value.

"The volume of content that organisations process is overwhelming and has turned from a point of efficiency to a complex hurdle, limiting operational speed and effectiveness, ultimately impacting both employee and customer experience," explained Leonard Kim, Hyland's Chief Product Officer. By offering robust automation and orchestration capabilities, Hx Automate allows customers to convert colossal volumes of content into intelligent content that can be put to work.

These capabilities comprise harnessing intelligent services by utilising technologies like large language models (LLMs) and data extraction tools to enrich and contextualise digital assets, integrating with key business platforms for a cohesive operational flow, and fostering a culture of creativity and problem-solving through user-driven innovation.

Hyland's new tool, Hx Automate, has potential applications across verticals where automation needs continue to grow - for example, it could provide a unified view into claims check processes in insurance, reducing bounce rate and streamlining revenue-generating processes. Similarly, it could integrate fully with student information systems in higher education to ease the transfer of documents and approvals, expediting admissions decisions and other student-related processes.

"Our customers are seeking ways to automate and optimise time-consuming processes related to content proliferation across disparate sources within organisations," Leonard Kim pointed out. Leaning on their industry expertise built over decades alongside the application of best practices, the launch of next-generation solutions through Hyland Experience will revolutionise efficiency and productivity.

Hyland intends to make Hyland Experience Insight initially available to select Hyland Alfresco customers from July. Transforming the synergy between AI, content, processes, and data, Hx Insight is set to create new standards for managing and harnessing enterprise content. It aims to generate accurate answers from information hidden in documents, enabling enterprises to achieve higher levels of efficiency while accelerating decision-making.
