Oracle embeds new AI agents in Fusion Cloud for smarter business

Thu, 16th Oct 2025

Oracle has announced the addition of new artificial intelligence (AI) agents within its Fusion Cloud Applications portfolio, aimed at enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency across multiple business functions such as finance, human resources, supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer service.

The new AI agents, developed utilising Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications and powered by large language models, are now embedded within the company's suite of cloud applications. These agents are designed to support business leaders in transforming core finance processes, streamlining HR operations, improving supply chain logistics, and uncovering new opportunities for revenue generation.

Steve Miranda, Executive Vice President of Applications Development at Oracle, said,

"AI is changing everything across every industry, redefining how work gets done, transforming business processes, and unlocking new value from enterprise data. With the expanded AI capabilities embedded in Oracle Fusion Applications, our customers can re-architect their finance, HR, supply chain, and customer experience operations. Whether it's detecting anomalies with ERP, closing skills gaps with HR, streamlining fulfillment in supply chain, or surfacing opportunities for sales teams, the AI agents within Fusion Applications empower our customers to work smarter, drive efficiency, and grow with confidence."

These AI agents operate within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, are prebuilt with security features, and fully integrated into the Oracle Fusion Applications environment at no additional cost. They are designed to fit seamlessly into existing business workflows, helping users carry out tasks more quickly and make more informed decisions.

The new agents are grouped into several categories based on business functions, with tailored features for finance, human capital management, supply chain and manufacturing, and customer experience.

Finance applications

Within the finance domain, Oracle has introduced several specialised agents. The Payables Agent helps accounts payable teams by automating multi-channel invoice processing, extracting and normalising data from various sources, and conducting compliance and fraud checks during the approval process. The Ledger Agent enables accountants to move towards a model of continuous insight, allowing natural-language monitoring and auto-creation of adjustment journals. For financial planning, the Planning Agent offers real-time trend and variance analysis through natural-language interactions, supporting what-if simulations to enhance forecast accuracy. The Payments Agent is designed to help finance teams manage and optimise cash outflows and expand payment options, such as early pay, virtual cards, and financing alternatives.

Human capital management

For human resources tasks, the Team Sync Advisor Agent assists employees and managers in running more effective meetings, providing weekly performance updates and actionable summaries. The Talent Advisor Agent is equipped to answer manager queries about team members by leveraging data from goals, evaluations, and feedback to suggest suitable career moves. Additionally, the Manager Concierge Agent addresses inquiries regarding compensation, leave, and talent management, directing them efficiently to the right support resources.

Supply chain and manufacturing

In supply chain operations, the Quote to Purchase Requisition Agent automates the supplier quote intake to requisition process, significantly reducing manual input. The Fulfilment Processing Assistant Agent accelerates shipping by recommending optimal packing and processing urgent requests. The Sales Order Assistant Agent supports customer service representatives in creating accurate sales orders by providing pricing, availability, and scheduling information with real-time recommendations.

Customer experience processes

For marketing and sales-related functions, the Account Product Fit Agent helps marketers target potential customers more effectively by analysing customer profiles and engagement signals. The Deal Advisor Agent offers sellers on-demand expertise and materials for closing deals, while the Escalation Prediction Agent identifies service requests likely to be escalated by analysing customer sentiment and request attributes.

Oracle has also introduced the AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, enabling customers and partners to create, test, and deploy their own AI agents tailored to specific enterprise needs. Accompanying this, the AI Agent Marketplace offers access to validated, partner-built AI agents which can be integrated into customers' enterprise environments.
